The children in our Primary 4- 7 classes are divided into four houses, named after the four provinces of Ireland, Ulster, Munster, Leinster and Connacht. The children in Primary 6 & 7 elect their own Captains and Vice-Captains. Each teacher then awards merit points to the children in his/her class over the course of a term. These points are collected regularly and a total calculated. At the end of the term the House with the most points wins a prize, usually in the form of a trip, outing or party. Individual children who have scored particularly well can also be rewarded.
