Dia Daoibh R2,3&4

3rd Apr 2020

Dia daoibh a pháistí R2,3 & 4. :)  Tá súil agam go bhfuil sibh uilig go maith agus ag obair go crua sa bhaile. Chonaic mé grianghraif iontacha daoibh ag obair sa bhaile, ag bácáil, ag garraíocht, ag déanamh ealaíne agus pictiúir den scoth! Tá mé chomh bródúil asaibh uilig agus tá mé cinnte go bhfuil na páistí is fearr sa scoil (nó b'fhéidir ar domhan) agamsa! Cronaím sibh uilig go mór gach lá ach tá mé go fóill ag iarraidh teagasc a dhéanamh le mo mhadadh Ed. Tá sé ag foghlaim an dóigh le cur le chéile a dhéanamh ach itheann sé na suimeanna nuair nach bhfuil mé ag amharc!

A massive big hello to all my wonderful boys and girls in Rang 2,3&4! I really hope you are all keeping very well in your lovely homes with your families. I'm staying with my mummy too as the builders at my new house had to stop for a little while. I hope your mummies and daddies aren't giving you too many terrible jobs to do like cleaning your room, putting your clothes away and washing the dishes (like my mummy is!).

I hope everyone is working on their learning packs. There are lots of activities to keep you all busy. You have all made me such a proud and happy múinteoir with all your fabulous work and learning so far this year, so let's keep it up! I would love to hear about all the wonderful books and stories you have read when we get back to school.

Rang 4, I know some of you may be a little bit disappointed that your very special First Holy Communion day could be a little later than planned. My big day has been pushed back a little too but it just means that we have even more time to look forward to it and get excited about it and when it finally does get here, it will feel even more special to us!  I have been logging in to see all the progress you have been making with your Accelerated Reading and I have to say that I am just delighted! If you haven't already tried 'MyOn' have a look and see all the brilliant books available to you. (Your AR logons should work for this.)

I have been spending lots of time at home reading, cooking and planning lots more activities for you all! (I might have watched a tiny bit of TV, had the odd cup of coffee and had one or two lie-ins but don't tell Miss McCooe). Ed and I have been on some lovely long walks in the countryside near to our house. I have finally managed to make poached eggs properly (after lots of trying) but Mamaí Mhic Ruairí is still trying really hard to teach me how to sew, it is not going well! I am really missing the hustle and bustle of our classroom so I have been teaching a very fluffy, cheeky little pup how to add but he just keeps eating all the sums and he's not a very good listener.

I have really enjoyed seeing all the lovely photographs of you working hard at home, baking, gardening, drawing and some of you doing the Tír na nÓg bin challenge (Up the PEARSE Ógs!!!) so please keep getting mummies and daddies to take the photos and videos so I can be a 'Nosy Rosie' and see all these brilliant things you are doing!

Now, lastly!! I hope you are all behaving well at home and making really good choices! Remember to try and be kind to your brothers and sisters. (I know it can be hard- I've told you all about my sister! :P)

Tabhair aire a pháistí agus bígí maith! Ag dúil go mór mór sibh a fheiceáil go luath!

Take care everyone, looking forward to seeing you all again soon!

Le grá, Iníon Mhic Ruairí agus Ed :)
