Our first topic this year was 'Ourselves'. We looked at similarities and differences between ourselves and our friends in school. We made pictograms to show the number of children with different eye colours and hair colours in our class. We learnt about how our bodies grow and change from when we are born until now and ways in which we can keep our bodies fit and healthy. Through play, we made self portraits, followed steps to bath a baby and carried out different jobs in the home corner. We now know lots of facts about each other and appreciate the different ways in which we are special.
