🩷 Salam’s Special Place 🩷
Surrounded by her classmates, teachers, family and friends, an olive tree was planted in her memory - a symbol of peace, resilience and a fitting tribute to her proud Syrian heritage. Around its roots, decorative stones were placed, each carrying beautiful quotes and messages of love, hope and remembrance. A special thank you to Anne White & Loretta Harper for their beautiful craftsmanship.
The children shared touching memories of Salam: her kindness, her smile, the joy she brought to those around her, and the special place she continues to hold in their hearts. There were tears, laughter and stories that reminded us all of the light she brought into this world.
As the ceremony drew to a close, balloons were released into the sky, carrying our love and prayers to our sweet girl in Jannah. 🎈🤍
“Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.” (Qur’an 2:156)
May this olive tree grow strong and flourish, just as Salam’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her. Though her time with us was far too short, her impact was immeasurable.
May Allah grant Salam the highest place in Jannah, surround her with His mercy, and give strength and comfort to all who miss her. Ameen.
Forever remembered. Forever loved. 🌿
