To conclude our topic, we learned lots of facts about penguins. In our numeracy lessons, the children were able to compare themselves to the height of an Emperor penguin and decide if they were taller, shorter or the same size. They worked really hard at sounding out words to label the parts of a penguin's body and lots of children made penguins during our play sessions. Some boys and girls even demonstrated how they could waddle like a penguin!
