Beannachtaí na Féile Bríde oraibh inniu.

Blessings of St Bridget on you today, the Feast of St Bridget. 

D'fhoghlaim muid inniu faoi Naomh Bríd agus rinne muid uilig Cros Bhríde.

We learned all about St Bridget today and made a St Bridget's Cross. Bridget and Bean Uí Lorcáin used luachraí/rushes to make the Cross but we used pipe cleaners. We hang St Bridget's crosses in our houses to keep us safe from harm.

We are learning a special prayer to Bridget to help us speak Irish.
