We have been working on Energy as part of our World Around Us topic. Today we looked at wind as a source of renewable energy. We were given some materials such as string, cup, cardboard, blue tack and sellotape and asked to create a wind turbine to generate energy to lift a cup of pennies. Some groups creations worked excellently, others had a few glitches but we all had fun taking on this challenge. We definitely have some budding engineers in our class!!
