Children’s Mental Health Week 2026
This week, our whole school community came together to celebrate Children’s Mental Health Week 2026—a special time dedicated to helping pupils understand the importance of looking after their minds, expressing their feelings, and supporting one another.
Throughout the week, every class took part in a wide range of activities designed to promote wellbeing, resilience, creativity, and connection. From mindfulness sessions and outdoor learning to circle-time discussions and calming art projects, our pupils explored lots of practical ways to support their mental health each day.
On Friday, we rounded off the week with a cheerful non-uniform day, helping raise awareness in a fun and colourful way. The highlight of the day was a fantastic whole-school assembly delivered by our Student Council, who teamed up with our Primary 6 Digital Leaders. Together, they presented a clear, engaging, and informative message about mental health, sharing valuable advice on how to keep our minds healthy—including staying active, talking to trusted adults, being kind to ourselves, and taking time to relax.
We are incredibly proud of our pupils for their enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to learn more about such an important topic. A huge well done to our Student Council and Digital Leaders for leading the way and inspiring the whole school community.
Let’s continue to support one another—not just this week, but every week.
