Primary 6 had a fantastic gymnastics lesson facilitated by Healthy Kids. Coach Conor started the lesson by playing a fun game called Twist or Balance Pairs. Children had to balance using different parts of their body. He then moved on and showed the children how to complete a log roll and an egg roll. This was very enjoyable and challenging. At the end of the lesson the children were taught one of the gymnastic shapes- Star. Next week we are looking forward to learning how to complete a front roll and back roll and completing more gymnastic challenges.
