This resource (which includes clickable audio clips beside words and phrases) will help parents and family members become confident in using Irish in their everyday home life.
Whether you grew up with Irish, learnt a few words at school or have never spoken it before, this resource shows that every family can begin together.
Research shows that hearing and using a second language regularly at home supports children’s communication, confidence, problem-solving and willingness to take risks when learning something new.
A few small words each day can make a big difference.
