Making Healthy Choices

This term we have been learning all about 'Ourselves'. We have been talking about ways in which we are similar and ways in which we are different. We discussed how we keep ourselves fit and healthy. Using hoops to make a Venn diagram, we sorted food into 'healthy' and 'unhealthy' groups and talked about how often we should eat certain foods. We now know that it is important to have a balanced diet, made up of lots of fruit and vegetables, dairy products, meat, bread and pasta. If we try our best to eat healthy for most of the week, we can have a little sweet treat at the weekend :)
