As part of our World Around Us topic on Ancient Egypt, P5 BMC took on the challenge of mummifying apples! Armed with salt, baking soda and plenty of curiosity, the children buried apple chunks and documented each stage with photos. They then used PicCollage to create step-by-step instructions, blending their UICT skills in digital storytelling with non-fiction writing and science. The class was buzzing with excitement and haven’t stopped talking about it since. What a brilliant way to bring history to life!
