Notice of School Closure to Pupils on Wednesday 26 April 2023

Dear Parents

As you may already be aware, the teaching trade unions in the north have indicated they will withdraw their labour on Wednesday 26 April 2023. After carefully assessing the impact the strike will have on the safety of the children without teaching staff, the decision has been made to close the school to pupils for the day. 

We apologise for the disruption the strike may have but trust you will be supportive of the teachers' actions. We look forward to the children's return on Thursday 27 April at the normal time.
