This term, P4JL have been exploring the wonderful world of string instruments — and what a journey it’s been! With enthusiasm, curiosity, and lots of teamwork, our young musicians have been learning to play the violin, viola, and cello.
Each instrument brings its own unique sound and challenges, and the pupils have shown great determination and joy in trying something new. From learning how to hold the bow correctly to producing their first clear notes, every step has been a celebration of progress.
We’ve been working closely with our music specialist to make the sessions accessible, engaging, and fun for all learners. Whether plucking strings or clapping a steady beat, the children have responded brilliantly to the rhythm and structure of music-making.
🎶 Our goal? To record a special performance before Christmas to share with families and friends — a festive treat that showcases all the hard work and musical magic happening in P4JL!
