We had a lovely day celebrating “Reading for Fun”
We began with some extra time to work on our potato characters (with a bit of plundering in the art cupboard!)
Later we enjoyed a lovely paired reading session, sharing stories with our buddies in P1.
We used iPads to create digital art book covers on Adobe and finished the afternoon with a quiz.
The readathon saw everyone really improve their engagement with reading, sharing titles and favourites and some children reading over a thousand words between school and home this week!
