This week the children discussed superheroes they are familiar with. They explored what the heroes wear, say and do. In our literary lessons they had a go at writing lots of super words such as ‘zap’ ‘pow’ and ‘boom.’ During our play sessions they made cuffs, masks and puppets. We discussed superpowers that we can have such as kindness and thought of real-life heroes; nurses, doctors, vets and our mums and dads. They thoroughly enjoyed our dress-up day and practised their superhero moves along to music.
