This term pupils enjoyed learning about life in the 1800s. As part of our topic we had fun finding out about inventions during this era. One of our highlights was when we found out a little about the discovery of electricity and how this invention came to affect our everyday lives.
The boys and girls learned about the first light bulbs, made by Swan and then his rival Thomas Edison, before having the chance to experiment themselves to create circuits to light bulbs 💡
