Tá an tEarrach linn agus bhí na páistí R1/2 ag fhoghlaim faoi na hainmhithe nua atá tagtha ar an tsaol. D'fhoghlaim siad fá shaolré na circe agus cheol siad 'Cúig ubh istigh sa nead'. Chun cur leis an fhoghlaim seo, bhí cuairt againn ó Mrs McCaffrey ó Choláiste Eoin Baiste lé hál sicíní!
R1/2 have been learning all about new life in Spring and in particular, the lifecycle of the hen. We learnt a song to help us remember the various stages and we were very excited this morning to welcome Mrs Mc Caffrey from St John the Baptist College with her flock of chick's! We all had a chance to hold or pet a chicken if we wanted to. We learned that chicks are very good at escaping and making off around the classroom! Thank you Mrs Mc Caffrey for the lovely experience this morning 🐣🐥
