Tír na nÓg GFC

We are extremely proud of the strong link which exists between our school and local GAA club, Tír na nÓg.

For years the club has supported our school’s GAA development through providing in school coaching, supplying equipment and hosting Cumann na mBunscol Blitzs.

Today their two Coaching Officers, Paul Reid and Barry McDonald visited school to discuss our plans for next year which will see the club-school link strengthen. Both gentlemen are past pupils of our school and fondly recalled wearing the gold and black Gaelic jerseys which were once synonymous with St John the Baptist PS team.
