P7 pupils joined with the boys and girls of Edenderry Primary School as part of the Shared Education Programme. We spent the day at the Ulster American Folk Park, Omagh and enjoyed learning about the different types of homes, buildings and shops in Ireland in the 1800s. We especially enjoyed listening to the experience of life on the ship, crossing the Atlantic Ocean, before stepping out into the New World and visiting American log cabins.
