We welcomed some visitors from Sandringham Care Home. The student council members greeted the residents, serving tea, coffee and treats and taking some time to chat together. The school choir performed a variety of songs and we even collaborated on ‘The boys from County Armagh’. Some of our Primary 7 children performed some piano solos. The children were a credit and it was so lovely to see them take time to chat to the residents and make them feel welcome in our school. It was a brilliant morning of community engagement and we look forward to planning many more.
