Today we were delighted to welcome Dave Wiggins, along with representatives from the Public Health Agency and the Department of Infrastructure, as part of our participation in the Walk, Wheel, Cycle to School Programme.
We were very fortunate to be chosen as the school to help promote this important initiative, which encourages children to stay fit, healthy and active by travelling to school in safe and sustainable ways.
Dave was also kept very busy carrying out safety checks on the many bikes that arrived this morning. The pupils loved seeing their bikes inspected and learning more about how to keep them in good working order.
A huge thank you to Dave, the PHA and the Department of Infrastructure for visiting out school and supporting our efforts to promote healthy lifestyles and active travel.
