Waste and Recycling Workshop with ABC Council

After their meeting with ABC Recycling Inspector, Dominic Marsden, the eco-council arranged for two ABC inspectors to visit our class to involve us in a waste and recycling workshop. They read us a story about King Wastealot who had a very dirty kingdom and didn't know about the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling. We sorted waste into blue bins, brown bins and green bins like we do at home. We listened so well that Dominic and Michael gave us time to play with their toy bin lorries and bin men before they left. I think we are now ready to help Greta Thunberg save our planet!
