We really enjoyed exploring the book 'The Little Red Hen'. This story told the tale of a hen who baked a loaf of bread from scratch. We decided to follow a recipe to make our own loaf of delicious soda bread. Luckily, we all worked together and were able to share the bread when it was ready. We added some jam and butter and enjoyed eating it as our mid morning snack. It was so yummy that we wished we had made more!
