We had great fun in school today celebrating World Book Day.
We enjoyed meeting up to read with some of the boys and girls in P1.
We had fun meeting a real author and illustrator online who told us all about her brand new book, Nina Peanut and even taught us how to draw some of the characters from her book.
We worked together to solve the clues in Mrs Parker’s ‘Guess the teacher and what they are reading’ competition.
We got super competitive in our house teams to participate in the ‘Big KS2 World Book Day Quiz 2024’.
Finally,
Throughout the week we got creative designing a new front cover for our favourite books using Adobe Express - with some outstanding and extremely professional looking pieces of work that would not look out of place in Waterstones. Well done, boys and girls 👏🏼🌟🙌🏻.
